About

Natalie is an award-winning Senior Medical and Scientific Illustrator at The New England Journal of Medicine. She creates illustrations, 2D-animations, visual abstracts, and medical-themed comics, and collaborates on interactive projects. Natalie also does freelance illustration, and has worked with a range of researchers, doctors, and scientists. She is board-certified (CMI) and an active professional member of the Association of Medical Illustrators.

Natalie earned her Master of Arts degree in Medical and Biological Illustration from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and was a Bartels Scientific Illustration Intern at the Cornell University's Lab of Ornithology.
